What a bunch of mealy mouthed wackadoodles. What's also tragic is that it took losing an election for most of you to give two ### about Covid or even acknowledge its existence.

There was avoidable loss of life under Trump, if he had just led and didn't malinger in the approach to it.,Thousands of lives were lost, because the GOP led it be politically influenced and flat out don't know to govern

Says the guy who posted daily death totals with Trump in office, but hasn’t posted ONE single COVID death update since your daddy took office.  Stop it with the shaming attempt, you could care less now you don’t have mean ol trump to blame every day!

Incorrect.  We just wanted things reported, not slanted.  You know my realization of the severity.  Some haven’t experienced that still.  To some it’s still a political ruse.

if there was avoidable loss of life undervtrump, what about the 100k+ that have died since *biden took over???  He said the fix was going to be simple.  Does *biden know how to govern???  Or just do as he’s told?

What are we doing differently under Biden that we weren't doing under Trump ?  The only difference now is we have a vaccine that is only 95% effective.  If they people that have already received the first shot don't get the second it's a waste of the vaccine.  Plus, what happens when the immunity from the vaccine wears off ?  We're back to square one unless people get another round of shots.  That would have been done under Trump as well.

First, my posts were quite often directly in response to nimrods and non scientists endlessly attempting to diminish its power while denigrating those who showed any concern for basic safety measures. So many 'brave' non mask wearers on here. How did that work out for most of the traitors on January 6th, by the way? And, you all know you were following the lead of the biggest, most shameful idiot in the history of dealing with a crisis in Trump, whether you admit it or not. The deadliest month of the pandemic was January, with Inauguration coming three weeks in. Anyone who doesn't believe that it is on Trump's watch is a dishonest #####.
And, directly related to President Biden, the reason why I post less about it is that we finally have someone in office who believes in governing in the time of national crisis, who trusts science and doesn't attack scientists for telling the truth, who responsibly does his job.

That has been a project of his for many years. You making fun of him for it???

Why not?   Trump made America the envy of the world and you made fun of him.   First, he’ll only defeat Covid because Trump pushed the private sector to find a vaccine.  Second, do you think Joe will wave a magic wand and cure cancer?  I wish he could, really do, but that’s pie in the sky thinking.  We’ve been trying to do that for many, many years, with moderate success, but to think we’ll suddenly cure all types of Cancer in the next four years is not realistic.

Please try not to believe everything any politician tells you.  I thought Trump was a great President, but when he mouthed off about Covid would be gone back in early 2020, and other ludicrous statements, I didn’t buy it.  He’d often let his Alaska size mouth overload his Rhode Island azz, but that was just the New Yorker in him.

Trump was completely disregarded and disrespected all over the world, seen as an insulting bully or an apple polisher to dictators. He lowered our standing in the world and damaged our credibility and respect among our peers. Where do you come up with THAT nonsense?

So said the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party (AKA the MSM), and Liberals lapped it up.  Imo, the rest of the world was urinated off because Trump took them off the USA Teat and was making them pay their own way.  Two examples, making other NATO countries pay their share of the money, and stopped subsidizing the world in the Paris Climate ripoff.  Disregarded and disrespected?   Not on your life.  Hated (for exposing them depending on America), and they secretly respected or feared him (he might cut off more USA milk).

You guys don’t realize, as soon as Old Joe wipes out Covid (when might that be?) he’s going to eliminate Cancer.

And people that voted for this poor senile old fool actually made fun of Trump.  Rotflmbo.

P.T. Barnum knew whereof he spake.

Trump made all those people go to family Christmas functions???  I know what you long for.....mandatory shutdowns.  Is that it?  The thing is, you can point the finger at Trump til your blue in the face.  It is still a virus and has to run its course.  Some of the worst affected states were extremely liberal blue states where mandatory lockdowns happened.  Science has already shown that shutdowns don’t help

A Very Convenient Narrative Shift on COVID Is Suddenly Happening

Because I’m more than a year old, I’m old enough to remember the days of Joe Biden promising to “crush” the virus the day he took office. For most of the 2020 campaign season, the current president asserted that Trump had the ability to do so much more than he was but that he was simply choosing not to do so. That become a common media narrative as well, as every single COVID death was hung around Trump’s neck as if he had personally murdered all of them.

With Biden becoming president, though, we are seeing a sudden shift in the narrative.

Faith in government is a fickle thing. Whenever a Republican is in charge, Democrats assert that the government not only can, but must solve every issue, down to stopping hurricanes from hitting the country. Yet, the moment a Democrat takes over, there’s just not much they can do about anything. Like a leaf in the wind, they are at the mercy of the uncontrollable forces which surround them.

Funny enough, the latter conclusion is actually closer to the truth. Very often, the government can’t do much about certain problems. In relation to COVID, there was never any magic move that Trump could have made that would have significantly changed the course of the virus. Once New York so thoroughly bungled their response, it was a forgone conclusion that the pandemic would take hold across the nation. Many Republicans tried to make that very point for much of the last year. It was met with derision and claims of wanting to kill grandma.

Regardless, let Joe Biden take office and suddenly it’s acceptable to push a narrative that he just can’t do much. It’s hard to ignore how convenient that is. It’s also an obvious ploy to cover up for the new administration’s ineptness. Everything they are doing is simply a continuation of Donald Trump’s work, including the escalation of vaccine distribution which was begun under the former president. Biden hasn’t been able to greatly improve on any real aspect of the response despite that being the entire pitch of his campaign. He’s been too busy hiding out from the press, doing tongue bath sessions with CNN, and playing Mario Kart, never mind that he clearly doesn’t have the ability to improve matters anyway.

You see this same dynamic in dealing with China as well. Before, anything that happened in relation to the communist nation was a supposed failure of Trump’s leadership. Now, it’s just a nebulous failure of the world.

Biden doesn’t have to take responsibility for anything because the press doesn’t demand it. It’s quite the racket they have going. But aren’t you really happy we don’t have to deal with mean tweets anymore?

What?! A politician lied?

Sad thing is *biden had 47 years of evidence backing him up and people were still stupid enough to vote for him.  Let’s say the election was actually 100% honest and accurate.....which no mentally stable person could actually think that...... but 80 million Americans were that stupid.  *biden duped 80 million people.

That shouldn’t be a good thing nor perspective. I guess some folks never learn or do via the hard way.

Politicians lie. It's been that way since the dawn of civilization. If you believe politicians, I feel sorry for you.
