My fantasy baseball team is liking the start Tucker, Bregman and Correa were having. If the Javier kid can come around watch out.

Not sold on Tucker yet, he leads with three HR but has been slow on base hits only batting .192 and defense is a little shaky,  I don't know much about the Javier kid I hope he is a good one.

Safety protocols have gutted the Astros so I'm reserving my outlook. But one thing I am 99% sure of is Straw is a liability offensively and defensively.  He is fast but has none of the defensive instincts Marisnick had.  The sooner ANYBODY is put in CF the better off we will be. And I never understood why the team supposedly missed RP Joe Smith last year and why anybody thought he would be a big boost this year out of the pen. A floating fastball thrown from a sidearm angle is just as easy to hit as a floating fastball thrown overhand.  He is useless for anything except mop-up duty

After teasing us with a quick start the Astros have settled into last place with their division leading payroll. Tucker continues to stink at the plate, and I agree Straw cannot hit and if you can't get on base your speed is useless. Outside of Brantley and Yuli nobody is hitting, Maldonado I don't think has had but two hits all year checking in at a .088 average.

Astros have battled back to just 0.5 game behind the A's with a 3 game series coming up.   The A's have had a distinct advantage in home games.  Gotta get 1 out of 3......really need 2 out of 3.

They are having a good run right now, Tucker is starting to hit a little better and Alvarez is hitting for a good average with his long ball not quite there yet. Yuli is driving in runs and hitting for a good average with Altuve and Alex doing ok. Correa needs to pick it up if he wants that big contract. Pitching is holding together and the Stros are scoring well and that helps.

I just found out today that they Astros have hired Reggie Jackson as a special adviser.  That will make rooting for the Astros even better for me.

I take you like Reggie, last time I seen him he was buying cars at the Mecum Car Auction
