in 1991 Jasper's 4×100 team set the National Record with the first sub 40 second time.  it stood for right at 10 years until a team from around Fort Worth beat it.

The last time I Googled it; as I remember, Jasper's 1991 time was still the third best time ever run in the United States.  Second place time was 40.2 which was no slouch.  Luckily, I got to see the race.  Brian Bronson got the baton about a stride behind their anchor; and finished at least a stride ahead of that anchor.  What a finish.  Brian went to the 1996 Olympics in the hurdles.

Wish that wind aid didn't exist, we got 39.75 but had to get time added after the fact to 39.80 in 2017. (4x100)

Beckville’s J’Koby Williams(Soph) won gold in the 110 and 300 hurdles. 
Boys 4x400 relay team got 3rd.(Karter Jones,Aiden Brantley, J’Koby Williams and Ryan Harris)
Jae’Dyn Slaughter got 4th in 800. 
Ryan Harris 6th in high jump. 
Amber Harris 3rd in high jump
