Well can you get the web designer to do it at some point? Seriously,  it would be very beneficial .... anyway, I thought that's why Smoaky asked the question  ....

I am looking at a handful of options to do a few things and trying to figure out how to get them done, thank you all for the suggestions.

Hey guys, it's your friendly Smoaky.com webmaster here.  I've added links into the top menu here on the forums that will take you directly to the Smoaky.com homepage and the Historical Section.

Was there anything else specifically that y'all would want to see changed on the site?

Speaking purely for myself, I wanted the titles to be under the names, but I'm the only one. I don't think anyone else on the site gives a rip:

Is here a definition for the titles posted somewhere? Like what is requied for each one?

Do you mean the rank? Because the titles are put in manually by members. That's why mine says "The guy behind the guy," and yours says "2017 SDC Hall of Fame Inductee"

But the ranks are different, it's based on an aggregate of posts, reactions, and general SDC clout:

Newbie = 0 points
Benchwarmer = 50 points
Rookie = 150 points
Enthusiast = 300 points
Starter = 500 points
Collaborator = 750 points
Regular = 1,000 points
Contributor = 2,500 points
Rising Star = 5,000 points
Experienced = 10,000 points
Proficient = 25,000 points
Mentor = 50,000 points
Grand Master = 100,000 points
Elite = 250,000 points

The last part was what i was asking about, didn't see the points values listed anywhere ...

The ranks are a fairly new feature. I'm not really crazy about them.

so I'm assuming 1 point per post ? Or do you get more posts for starting topics or likes or whatever ?

As best I understand the rules:

  • You get 10 points for creating a new topic/post
  • You get 5 points for commenting/replying on an existing topic/post
  • You get 2 points for every time you follow a topic/post, a forum, or a member
  • You get 1 point for reacting to someone else's post/comment
  • You get 1 point for every time someone reacts to one of your posts/replies
  • Like 3
