Longview Vs. SS NO REPORT
Texas High Vs. Marshall- PPD

No scores to report.  Not sure if the games even happened.  SS closed their campuses after Thursday.  Longview has had short roster issues.  Marshall/Texas High was already PPD.  PT and MP can't be found.  SOOO...who knows.

LOOKING TO TUESDAY
Mt Pleasant Vs. Sulphur Springs-  Lady Tigers are rolling, while Sulphur Springs is struggling.  MP looking to remain on top of the district.  SS on the verge of playoff race elimination.

Longview Vs. Hallsville-  The Ladycats are in the thick of the race, while Longview has been battling a short roster this season.

Texas High Vs. Pine Tree-  The Lady Tigers are also in the playoff hunt.  Pine Tree is still looking for their first district win.

Sulphur Springs slipped by Longview for the win to keep themselves just one game behind Hallsville, while MP kept pace with a big win over PT.  Marshall and Texarkana will make their game up after TISD resumes classes due to COVID protocols.

LOOKING TO TUESDAY
Sulphur Springs Vs. Mt Pleasant- A HUGE rivalry game in a battle for 2nd place.  The winner will take sole possession of the #2 slot and keep pace with Hallsville...while the loser will fall to third place and potentially two games behind the Bobcats.

Hallsville Vs. Longview-  The Bobcats are looking to keep themselves all alone in first place for the district lead.  Longview is still battling to stay in the playoff race.

Pine Tree Vs. Texas High-  Both teams are on the verge of being eliminated from the playoff chase.  A win will keep their (slim) hopes alive.  The loser will be in deep trouble.

Finally was able to find some results after some digging. Have us at 4-15 on the year, 1-4 in district.

Absolutely no clue if the game against Sulphur Springs was able to get played though. I can't find a single score anywhere. It was beyond difficult just to get the 14 games I did find (minus district obviously).

SSISD shut down Friday.  They said extra curricular activities would continue if able.  I’m thinking they didn’t play.  Maybe SS had too many players out.

The Lady Lobo/Texas High game was post pined a few days too because of a lack of roster players. Assuming COVID on that too.

it’s always been hard finding girls scores (any sport). But the pandemic has made it near impossible to find all scores.

Ugh

Standings are a little out of wack because of PPD and unreported games.  Trying to get it all cleaned up.  To avoid confusion (on my part more than anything) I've added what I have including tonight's game.  I'll update more tomorrow after more games are reported.  Thanks!

As a Pine Tree Pirate this is the weakest boys and girls basketball districts I have ever seen. I say this respectfully but everyone is so-so at best.

Nacs boys are in serious trouble starting 0-2 with LP on Friday falling to 0-3 will leave them little room for error vs Tyler and Whitehouse.

Nac boys having been barely making it all year. Their coaches said they have not had a single practice or a game this whole year with their complete team.  Nac even had to go to the MP tournament with 7 kids and a jv player. They have had  kids out with injuries or sickness all year. They have several kids out now. Just been one of those years.

Hope it doesn't break their 6 year playoff run (first time in school history) but they are struggling to get bodies well.

That makes for a tough year, but injuries happen to everyone hope we get past it. We can still make the playoffs but we can not lose to Tyler and Whitehouse or the road gets tougher.
