Yes, it would have been interesting since Cushing had won the match up earlier in the season last year and then got throttled in their bi-district game…. Granted, Deweyville was missing players and reeling from the aftermath of Hurricane Laura that week earlier in the season… it was a miracle they even got enough to play and come all the way up to play. Bearkats we’re missing two key players in the bi-district. Anyway, new season and all…. Except it is beginning to be a let down with all the COVID mess. Hate it fir the younger teams, as well. The JV looked good in their first game and the Jr. High has a high turnout… I believe around 33. Hopefully they will all get back on track soon.
