jacketgrad06 Posted October 29, 2021 Share Posted October 29, 2021 Tonight this district will be all figured out. 3 teams are locked in, with one spot left with no one completely eliminated. Alto, Centerville, Normangee all are locked in, just waiting on seeding. CV and Norm game will be big tonight. All three teams still mathematically could be the 1 seed or could be the three seed. Will be interesting. Groveton - comes in with a chance to knock off their rivals, Alto, and give themselves a chance to get into the playoffs. Still need Grapeland to lose to Leon but stranger things have happened. I don’t see them getting it done but this used to be one of the best rivalries in East Texas. A lot of history between these schools and it used to be completely intertwined with each other. Grapeland - has the easiest road into the playoffs of the three left. Win tonight and they clinch the #4 spot. Leon - needs Alto to win and to knock off Grapeland by 11 or more. Leon started the year strong but fell off. Could see Leon get the win and get in but most likely it’s Grapeland. I will try to update scores as I can. Good luck to all these teams tonight and may they all come out healthy.
