Tyler Vs Mesquite Horn

After getting a great confidence win last night Against nac, Tyler comes into this game with offense on a roll scoring 40+ in the last two games. Will they keep it going for another game against a respectable horn squad, though they to be a bit down this at 0-2. Can the lions pull out another victory and roll into district on a two game win streak? My guess is yes. Give me Tyler with a comfortable win.

Tyler High Showed again last night. That they had a problem with stopping the run. Nacogdoches ran up and down the field in the second half. They was only because Nacogdoches didn’t have enough time

Not necessarily. They switched to the zone read option in the second half. Tyler high forced fumbles stopped them. Nac went from a 4 wide spread to zone read option. They did get better traction running it through.

All that showed was. They took a page out of legacy book, and saw that it worked on our defense.

We have to stop playing man to man with no safety up top, our corners are slow and get beat off the line of scrimmage and they NEVER look for the ball. They always looking at the receiver lol.

As long as teams know that we can’t stop the run. He is going to put nine in the box to stop the run. Legacy showed if you beat one guy you’re off to the races.

I rather us give up 5-10 yards than over 50-60 in one play for a easy score, you need at least make teams work for it. We make it tooo easy. We need to play zone alittle more and get out a 3-4 scheme!! Why are we in a 3-4 scheme?? We do not have a an elite DT that 350 plus pounds that can hold his own. Our line backers are not that great and over shoot gaps, lastly we are just too small on the fron line to play this scheme, a 4-2-5 scheme would fit better for us since we are smaller but we are a fast team and can cover ground if need be. Heck even 4-3 would be better lol. All in all it’s sad cause our lineman are the size of defensive backs playing DT and DE lol.  The strength and conditioning coach is not doing his job getting the big guys right physically.

they went to the 3-4 because we don’t have enough DT to be about to rotate in fresh legs. In a 3-4 you only need one  DT and you have more players to rotate.

Yea but we don’t even have the CALIBER DT you need for a 3-4 so it still doesn’t make since which is why we get ran all over on.

And it has costed us lots of games in the past. Watch what hale does to our receivers lmao. That man gone have 300+ receiving yards on our little corners. They can’t even cover jimmy from down the street let alone the second best receiver in the country lol 😂😂

I know JT has always had athletes but I'm pretty damn sure y'all coach is not stupid enough to try and press cover Hale. Atleast not this year...
