This is funny! Everyone  gets mad at me for saying  the same thing with Longview  at home against  Bryant with its home cooking!! Sounds like you are already  to blame the officiating  if you lose. Double standard

Do you think Longview has wire transfer bank account access to all coaching chapters across the state?! I think not, HP has clearly mastered that one.

I believe Longview can do it. I imagine they have a unbeaten streak ( home ) again? I be surprised if they actually played someone of Longview caliber either.

They haven't lost a district home game since 1999.

A couple weeks ago I went through and pulled up the list as much as I could but yea they definitely haven't had a Longview at a home district game at least since 2004.

PA out of Little Rock and aledo only two home L’s I could think of for a while. Horn gave them pretty good game. 14/15 I think..Lancaster maybe but don’t think are on lobos level. Hope lobos come out puttin hale to use. If they get up early they pull it off

Aledo didn't beat them at home. Frisco Lone Star did.

North Mesquite had them beat back in 2015, but HP pulled it out 28-27.

Horn gave them a good game in 2015 as well, but fell 24-17.

Lancaster got blown out by them in 2018 (just looking at the score at least).

Obviously don't have their home lists from 1999-2003.

Only home losses since 1999 came in 2019 against Frisco Lone Star (30-19) and in 2015 against Pulaski Academy (Ark) (40-13).

The PA loss ended an 84-game home winning streak.

That’s why stat padded for years off of really Dallas schools

for some reason I thought aledo got em first game of the year in 14 .

no discredit impressive to win that many in a row but idk not many of those teams have the ath longviw has year in year out

Maxpreps says Aledo and Highland Park played the first game of the season in both 2012 and 2013.
Shows they played at a neutral field in 2012.   Says they played at Highland Park in 2013.  Says Aledo won easily both years.
Maxpreps is not always accurate.

Lol, geez...  did King kick sand in your face back in high school or something? I can't think of anyone on this entire site who spends more time on Longview threads trying to get a rise out of people. Hell, even Lion manges to occasionally make a somewhat worthwhile insight.

Damn...  no amount of "home cooking" could create that level of success over time.

Longview gonna Longview.

No doubt they have had great teams and an even better coach. That being said, they have had ALL the advantages that other schools could only dream of.

Jesus...  I hope you Lobo fans appreciate the kind of resource this guy is. I've dealt with college SID departments who didn't have this level of info and stats to pull from.

This is really going to be a good game.  I think HP should be favored by 10 at home.  I am not convinced yet that this Longview team is consistent enough to beat HP much less at home.  The team had a good effort on Friday but will need to have a near flawless game on Friday.  I am also worried about our injuries and how they will affect the game.  Our defense will have to have a game like they did against Bryant.

HP ain’t gone beat y’all, this is not the HP of past, you will come back in win cause you know the refs gotta spot them 14 before hand

We will see.  Longview should be able to score some points if we don't make the stupid mistakes.  Randy Allen is going to be ready for this young defense and is going to push them hard...going to be interesting to see how we play with a few starters out.
