Listening to a podcast about The Grove in Jefferson. Apparently a carpetbagger was killed around there. His body can be seen in the road in front of the house until you walk up on it. There’s a lady in white who walks around the house. One owner of the home said that she was always feeling the presence of somebody watching and of something/somethings trying to get into her house.

Anybody else have any favorite haunts or sightings?

Here’s kind of a personal story. My cousins husband is pretty straight and forward guy. Doesn’t believe in aliens, Bigfoot or the liberal media. He was telling the story about his mom and her “friend.” For years, off and on, his mother would wake up at night to a man standing at the foot of her bed. Her husband was in bed next to her. The man could only be seen from the waist up. He never did anything but stand there and watch her. She never got an evil vibe from him. She’d tell everybody that her friend came to see her last night. Went on for years. Until one night he came to see her. She said that for the first time she was able to see him from the top of his head to the bottom of his shoes. 3 days later she passed away from a massive heart attack. Im not saying, Im just saying. You know.

There is a small house that's been converted into a restaurant in Waxahachie called "Catfish Plantation" that is supposedly haunted.
