He's wrong that it started in the 70's, it actually began in the late 60's.  I agree that they look for racism in everything, even if it was not even mentioned by those that allegedly were racist.  Also many want to change America today, because they think it has failed.  The reason it has failed begins with Woodrow Wilson then worsened under FDR, LBJ, Bill Clinton, BHO, and now Biden.  They have changed the way Capitalism works and made us more of a socialist country.  

We did need Civil Rights laws of the 50's and 60's.  We must understand the mindset of the people of the 19th Century and early 20th Century that knew slavery.  Racism was even taught in churches across every denomination.  That train of thought had to be weeded out, much like the Israelites 40 year trek to the promised land to purge them of their idolatry and ways of doing things before they were free.  America had to be purged of it's racist past as well.  I began seeing it in the 70's-90's, but CRT has brought it back from the dead and proclaim that it is worse now than it was in the History of the U.S..
