Today’s society is becoming more & more soft each day. Parents drop their babies off in front of the school in the morning, & go back & pick them up in the afternoon, clogging the streets in front of the school. What ever happened to catching the bus in front of your house & getting back off after school? Tax Dollars wasted; Gasoline wasted. Time wasted. It makes no sense at all.🙄

That seems like a bridge a bit too far for me CarthDawg lol. I'd need some more empirical evidence to support this thesis. I feel comfortable in saying none of our issues as a society can be pragmatically tied back to whether or not kids ride the bus or get dropped of by their parents.

Is it, though?

It worked for kids when I was coming up; My parents both worked & after us kids caught the bus, they went to work. After that, we were pretty much “latch-key” kids, until we got old enough to drive ourselves to & from school & then to work. Laying around wasn’t tolerated in my family. My brother & I both worked to pay for our own vehicles. Our sisters were not required to buy their own cars. I recon they were raised Democrat...😜🙄

I know. I have never seen the amount of parents that pickup and drop off at school. My brother and I missed the bus one time and my mother was mad. We lived less than 10 minutes from the school in the car. This was in the 70s and she did not work at the time. We rode the bus until we drove or had a friend that could drive.

And thus, the straw man was defeated.

Hey no reason to talk about the game because PG has gotten so much better and we are in trouble

Now that’s funny.  Well PG has gotten better because that sched got a lot easier.  Argyle, Carthage, Paris and Silsbee a bit different than SH, NL, Pitt and LE.  LOL

Bux win!
