d0tc0m Posted November 8, 2021 Share Posted November 8, 2021 This is a bad matchup for Mineral Wells. The Rams defense has allowed a ton of points to a pretty mediocre schedule. That's not going to change this week. Bobcats offense has been rolling, and should be getting back a few key players now that the postseason has started. Mineral Wells has a decent athlete in Tristan Gray, who leads the Ram in both rushing and receiving. But one man ain't gonna get it done. Bobcats defense will be pinning their ears back and living in the MW backfield. Celina wins this one by 30+ and moves on to a bit of a tougher second round. Probably the 2's/3's get as much playing time in this game as the starters. Good for the program and good for the parents. Also good for the team and the chemistry. I cutoff would have to jump all the way to 1,000 for Celina to not move up. The Bobcats turned in 997 on snapshot day. Celina is for sure moving up to Div. I unless something bizarre happens with the numbers. The good news is, Celina will be just fine.
