We’ve been counted out several times ... one game in particular I remember is in 02! First round we drew the #1 state ranked Mcgregor bulldogs!! Everyone said they was gonna whoop us and go win state... but just the opposite happened! We whooped them 32 to 6 and went on to win it all!! Mcgregor was ranked #1 that year , they stepped on the field with their chest poked out , but when CC went to laying the hat .. they backed down quick and didn’t want it ! And that’s awesome on yalls win!! It makes the victory even better when nobody is giving you a chance! in 96 we beat the state ranked rusk eagles in a district game!
