I am really interested in how the split back veer looks, against (maybe) stronger competition going forwards into the playoffs.Obviously it's not an offense widely seen by high-school players in these modern times. Many versions of it have been run throughout the years and many state and national titles have been secured with it,personally it's my favorite and played in a veer offense for 6 years from Jr high till graduation of high school.I'll take alto and the veer for the vic Alex 👏

We’re running it pretty well, chain. Hope it’s successful vs that big Thorndale defense. Not sure any of the ones on their schedule this season ran it. Haven’t looked that closely.

Jackets win not predicting the score because you only need 1 point to win.

Man oh man. Y’all gonna have a battle this week with Beckville. I feel like y’all got a lot to prove and really want that game back from Week 1. Good luck in this rivalry game!

Good luck to the Bulldogs! Wish y’all could pull the upset! Who knows? That’s why you play the game right?! Y’all been in a big game or two over your football history! Give it all you got and then some.

Thank you sir!!  We’ve been counted out several times ... one game in particular I remember is in 02!  First round we drew the #1 state ranked Mcgregor bulldogs!!  Everyone said they was gonna whoop us and go win state...   but just the opposite happened!  We whooped them 32 to 6 and went on to win it all!!

So im a firm believer.. it ain’t over til that last second ticks off .. and the fat lady sings!!!

That’s awesome! I didn’t remember McGregor being ranked #1 or the first round.

Same kind of thing for us wayyyyy back in 1981 (I was just a little kid but even I remember that night!) when we played the undefeated #1 Forney Jackrabbits with their “Alto Who?” sign hanging on the home stands in Lindale. 😂 We walked away winners that night. Didn’t win state that year but took down the #1 team in the land in what should have been a beat down for them! Lol

That’s why you settle it on the field!

Yes sir!  Mcgregor was ranked #1 that year ,  they stepped on the field with their chest poked out ,  but when CC went to laying the hat .. they backed down quick and didn’t want it !

And that’s awesome on yalls win!!  It makes the victory even better when nobody is giving you a chance! 😂

in 96 we beat the state ranked rusk eagles in a district game!  That game is what changed and made our program what it is !
