4A teams on the bubble of dropping as they are about within a 20 student window of the last cutoff:

Hondo (536)

Iowa Park (534)

Mexia (533)

Shepherd (531)

Vernon (526)

Crystal City (524)

Rio Hondo (515)

Spring Hill should be on this list!

I think the cut off is going to be 535 so Hondo will be the smallest 4A team in the state

If Iowa Park drops, they will be the 3A D1 Region 1 Finalist or Semifinalist...  They were really young this year and extremely talented.

Don’t envy the folks having to put this puzzle together.  From the outside it looks like an impossible task.  For example, in trying to balance as much as possible, some teams will be in a District that doesn’t make any sense geographically.  Everyone will wonder why, but that leaves room for another placement in a similar situation that’ll finally get the team they were trying to place in a decent District.  That job is a freaking nightmare.

Their RB is a stud. Believe he is going to play Safety at ACU.

They will be competitive, but don’t think they beat Brock

Brock just keeps reloading.  Weatherford could be something special if all of their good athletes would quit moving 15 miles East (Aledo) and 15 miles west (Brock).  Not to mention that Peaster (affluent ranching 3A town) also started football 15 miles NW of weatherford
