Lions78 Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Looks like someone let the cat out of the bag before it was time to. Real quiet up until this point. I believe this hire is a under the radar splash if what Matt Stepp is saying on Twitter is true. 1

Lions78 Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Coach Linscomb won state title at Cuero as DC and has been on staffs at Odessa Permian, Midlothian, Rockdale and most recently New Caney. He brings in a son as well, 6’2 210lb LB that was first team all district at New Caney last season. Anxious to see what staff he brings with him as well. Teague can win immediately if the buy in is what I expect it to be. 1

Great Hire I have to give the entire administration a big thumbs up on finding a guy who will build up what Coach O was able to do and take Teague to new heights. Good Job Teague you got a heck of a Person and Ball coach! 1
blesseddaily Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 Congrats guys!! Sounds like a great hire! 1
wooderson Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 Linscomb also grew up and played ball in Refugio so he has always been a part of great coaching and programs. Congrats Teague 1
player73 Posted January 22, 2022 Author Posted January 22, 2022 Teague folks are pumped by this hire. It appears that Coach Linscomb credentials checked all the boxes that the Teague administration was looking for.
Guest Tiger03lb Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 Congratulations Teague! I'll agree with the poster above. Teague could start having sucess early. They were really young last year and showed some talent on last years team. I heard the lower levels have some talent coming up so that'll add to that. Hope he has sucess and can get Teague back to where they once were.

There's always great football when Teague is up and going. Will there be a whole new staff?

lionpride08 Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Great hire for Teague... Maybe we can get the "rivalry" started back up. I hear we are looking for games week 1-4 maybe week 5. If the kids buy in Teague can return to being a threat
ChefBoy63 Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 Linscomb is a great guy and coach. I do believe he is going to do great things in Teague. He will definitely get the best out of kids.
