Hirschi has even played two QB's today.......they have some players for sure.  They are winning despite some mistakes in the first half. Tough on D too.

Here comes Stephenville.......they will beat you to spots on the field and execute those plays.  The Yellowjackets are basically "loaded" this season with big strong athletes at every position that are all very well coached.  Now Stephenville answers with another score.

Hirschi ain't done yet......despite this field goal attempt.  Stephenville leads by 3, but a missed field goal will give Hirschi decent field position.....whereas a punt can pin Hirschi

No field goal attempt......Hirschi takes over at their own 29 on that overthrown hail mary out of bounds by Lambert on 4th and 20.  Now HIrschi has 3 minutes to try to tie this game with a field goal or win it.

Hirschi gets a personal foul flag thrown against the Yellowjackets on a targeting call that was obvious and really a hard late hit to the head on that swing pass incompletion.

I think HIrschi is gonna hafta throw it.....but that swing pass for 2 yds to Peterson in the flat was easily pushed to the sideline. HIrschi needs to go vertical on Stephenville.  Now here's the game......4th and 8 at basically midfield.

He hits the quick slant inside the 30 on that bullet......still marching with 1:33 left and 2 timeouts left.

They stop Peterson in a scrum.......some big lug for Stephenville comes out of the pile with the football and takes off......Barkley.  Now they are ruling forward progress was stopped......which it was.  He didn't get the football until way after the play was stopped.

In between 3 white jerseys right down the middle at the goal line and ALMOST holds onto it.  4th down again and 6 with 56 secs. left. Timeout HIrschi.  Too far for a field goal.

With 46 secs left Cosby tries to set up a screen, but Austin Brown crashes thru and sacks Cosby as he throws up a prayer.  WRONG call against this team for sure......should have just given it to Peterson in space to make the 6 yds.  Now it's Victory Formation and Stephenville escapes for the 3rd week in a row.

For the first time in 9 yrs......Stephenville will play for a Championship.  Actually this was the GAME OF THE DAY!  Eight lead changes in this game back and forth.  Kudos to Hirschi......12-3 and 12 wins in a row until 45 secs ago.  They had a good chance to at least tie it up if not win it at the gun.  It was a puredee good game for sure.

The worst call a ref could make in a playoff game. WF runner hit and stood up another SV linebacker takes the ball and goes all the way to the 10 yard line. The dang ref never blew the whistle until the linebacker almost scored. They ended winning anyway but that was a terrible call.

Congrats to the Stephenville Yellowjackets again this week for finding ways to score and advance......and particularly getting the stop in the 4th late.  They  are Big. Strong, and well-coached.  They are a TEAM.  And very tough to beat.  They have the playmakers on both sides of the ball too......but this win today was their toughest for this season because Hirschi had the ball at the Yellowjackets 29 on 3rd down but could not advance it closer.  Hirschi ALMOST completed that pass at the goal line.....he had it in his hands and did not hang on when he was hit and fell to the ground.  With 3 Stephenville defenders all around him.

Final               Great game from both teams......but I really think Hirschi played well enough to win this game.  They just did not understand the quality of this season's Stephenville Yellowjackets.  They left Lambert free too many times to pick up first downs on 3rd and long or 2nd and long.  They just did not realize how well he runs with the football......and how fast he is.

I surely was not expecting a cakewalk for Stephenville today.......but I WILL agree with you that these two teams were the best two teams in that side of the bracket this season.  Argyle played well all season despite some "holes" in their offensive game, but actually Stephenville and Hirschi both have better overall personnel for sure.  Argyle had the best defense......but even with that, a good overall team found a way to beat them.  Argyle held Stephenville to low points, but could not capitalize offensively.  BOTH teams today found ways to score when they had the ball......and both teams found ways to make stops today when they had to.  It was a really good football game.

Guess what???  This game will be replayed TONIGHT at 11:30 on Bally Sports (FSSW) on TV if you have the channel.  So for those of you that did not see this game because you attended another game tonight.......you can see the best game of the day tonight replayed on Bally Sports Network(the old FSSW Channel).
