2021 Bowl Season

On that pick at the goal line.....the ball went right thru the receiver's hands.....he caught air.  And the ball ended up in the breadbasket of the defender for the pick.  Just one of those bad luck deals that happens sometimes.  Should have caught the ball and scored the TD.  Probably would have caught that ball 9 times out of 10.  The receiver was wide open but Bohanon floated it and it took forever to get to the spot.

I cannot believe that Baylor did not take that penalty and set Ole Miss back and replay it at 3rd and 13. Ole Miss QB scrambles and finds his receiver on the sideline at the last second for 12 yds and the first down. He bought time and found a spot to throw it right on target.....on the run.

It was out of field goal range......so Baylor knew they were going for it on 4th and 8.

The quickness of Altmyer at QB is giving the Baylor D some problems.  He gets rid  of the ball quickly, he's accurate, and he's able to move around and scramble back there.  But the D held and forced a field goal try which was wide right......so Baylor escapes on that possession.  But all of that was the result of the crazy interception that should have never occurred.  But it did occur, and Baylor's D did get a stop.  Still tied up 7-7 late in the 3rd......kind of a tense game to watch.

Actually.....13 mins. left in the 4th now.

Bohanon launches another high one to an open receiver long.......just a little too much air and a little long. He needs to lower those throws to a wide open guy streaking down the field.  Now Baylor breaks one from the LOS for a 48 yd TD run.  Baylor takes the lead with an 80 yd drive in 6 plays.
