I agree people act like Lincoln was something amazing but I think he just lucked into a already decent OU roster in a weak conference schedule.  OU will be just as good under Venables if not better because he is going to build a solid defense and will coach the physical brand necessary to compete in the SEC. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am truly happy with Venables, and I sincerely believe we traded up in the deal.
