Obviously with the OC and DC leaving with Griedl those two positions will be open. But the position coaches could possibly remain. I know OL coach Lott has a history with Alvarez and he will likely stay. Hard to not be excited about this hire. Coach Alvarez's credentials (winning/coaching in multiple state championships) are similar to what we saw with Coach Parker. Mavchamp Posted March 5, 2022 Share Posted March 5, 2022 Not official yet.... But it looks like Coach Alvarez's OC and DC from Cuero will be joining him in Marshall. They were in town this week meeting the team. Still has to be approved by the school board. Looks like Spring Ball will happen..... and he's already planning on ramping up the 7 on 7. We've always had league play in June....but we only did 2 SQT's (Tyler and Lufkin). Saying we will do more. Hope that's true.
