Would probably face Deweyville/Colmesneil if that scenario plays out. You don't want to be 4th in this district because that'll draw Lovelady. I think they can also play with Tenaha for a while/into 2nd half (did last year). I agree. This district before the alto issue to me would’ve had at least 3 teams in the 2nd round in my opinion. Let’s just say they were pretty dang surprised and the reactions were awesome. Donation received through the Booster Club to make it happen. It’s the 95th anniversary AND we sit at 599 AND these boys are the casualties of recent events so it was nice to surprise them. The “DM” on the billboard is for Devonte Mumphrey. Rashawn, Vonte’s first cousin, is in the center of the picture pointing to the “DM” helmet sticker in honor and memory of Vonte. I took a little time before the season began and compiled this list of East Texas 2A schools with Wins/Losses through the 2021 season. I haven’t done playoff appearances and win/loss records of those yet but will add and share when I do.
