If you didnt know better and just looked at this list, you would think Centerville beat Timpson. Dont understand how Timpson gets so little mention but schools like Centerville, Beckville and others who Timpson "donkey punched" and "ran off the field" are well represented.

If I'm not mistaken, this one requires coaches to turn in stats and info.....take it from there.......

This is all based on coaches nominations and I know Coach Therwhanger turned in nominations because the same one's came to me for the All-Smoaky.com Team that you didn't comment on that was released over a week ago.

We honored Terry Bussey with a Superlative honor because he earned it. And, if you ask Coach Therwhanger or most any coach I bother the hell out of them with text messages and calls constantly asking not only about their own players but the best players they played.

The best player I saw this season was China Spring QB Major Bowden, not gaudy stats but ask anyone how valuable he was and he is the second-team QB in 4-A because his stats overall aren't comparable to Gilmer's Brandon Tennison who was fantastic, but Bowden was incredible and dominant in China Spring's state championship win against Gilmer.

Definitely alot of super great talent on the list. I can see where the voters and the election officials would have problems sorting out who got the top honors. Bet nobody ever feels the list is 100% right. Some kids like Bussey will theoretically have more chances to prove they were just as good as the ones chosen at certain positions.
