Joslin is a great dude. Hope this works out for him and for Spring Hill.

Great dude, but can he produce results on the football field?  Is this hire a nod to Joslin or a way to keep the remaining staff in place to minimize turnover?  I’m cautiously optimistic.

Coach J was very good when he was in Marshall as a position coach.  Kids were very responsive to him and he seemed to be a great motivator.

Happy to see him rising through the ranks.

I think I speak for Mav Nation when I say CONGRATS and GOOD LUCK to him.

Now let’s focus on getting a schedule posted!

“The new coach will inherit a schedule that is already set for 2022. The Panthers will scrimmage Van on the road and Rusk at home, and then open the season at home on Aug. 25 against Sabine.

The remainder of the non-district schedule has the Panthers visiting Center on Sept. 2, hosting Gladewater on Sept. 9, visiting Brownsboro on Sept. 16 and then hosting Grace on Sept. 23.”

Sabine is gonna be a problem! They’re a really good team and will make the playoffs!
Spring Hill better bring their “A” game for this contest!

We’ll see. We replace a lot but have a good group coming up. We have a brutal schedule and wins are going to be hard to come by this next year.

Not familiar with his Resume. Can you post his experience and credentials? Thanks

Per LNJ:  “Joslin, a Royse City High School graduate who later played four seasons at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, has been defensive coordinator at Spring Hill for three seasons.  His first coaching job was at Elysian Fields, where he spent three total seasons and one season as defensive coordinator. He moved on to Marshall for three years, the last two as defensive coordinator, and spent two years — the final season as defensive coordinator — at Tatum.”
