Yeah, that's stymying me. Most of the best lines I heard from coaches are not appropriate for decent society.

Coach Don Truitt, Joaquin OC from 1988-90. 
“We got three rules around here: 

Rule #1: Be on time. For everything. Class, practice, the bus for road games, your job, it doesn’t matter. And being on time means being ready to go.  
Rule #2: Do what you’re told. By your coaches, teachers and parents. We all want to see you succeed. 
Rule #3. PLAY LIKE HELL ON FRIDAY NIGHT! 
 

When Coach Truitt would speak at the pep rally, he would wrap up by looking over at his team and yelling “RULE # 3!!”

We had a coach back in the day at Gladewater,Coach Bobby Bernard, (who a NCAA Hurdling Champion at TCU), who would often say, "Boys, you gotta scratch and claw for every point...every point." It didn't matter if was football or at a track meet, that was his go-to saying.
