EnjoyLife
Um....no. My ancestors did not cross an ocean and conquer a continent so that I would have to eat bugs.
DaveTV1
Heck they've been doing it for the past several years. Some ball parks serve them at their concessions. I know they were a big thing in Houston about 3 years ago. The closest thing I'll eat to a bug are crustaceans. At least the bugs of the sea taste good. EnjoyLife
We were at Caverns of Sonora a couple weeks ago and in the giftshop they actually sold little packages of edible insects...the first I ever remember seeing. I passed on the bugs...but I did buy a block of fudge .

Hayseed
I would never know this if it weren't for USAF survival school. Crickets and grasshoppers aren't all that bad if roasted. They need to be separated first though by removing the head and innards at the neck. You then cook the legs and body and throw away the head and guts. There's also a lot of a pine tree that's edible but not super tasty. Edited October 7, 2022 by Hayseed
