I like it. I don't think the SEC would go with those pods. Pod 1 is ridiculous and Pod 2 is too weak.

The Big 12 one needs some adjusting too.

SEC pod 3, Yes please

They would swap Missouri and A&M if they really did this.

I know a lot of Aggies turn their nose up at the idea, but I’m going to be mad as hell if the league is not set up in a way where A&M and Texas do not have games every year.

I just see them wanting to get the pods as "balanced" as possible.

If you go;

Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas

A&M, LSU, Ole Miss, MSU

Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vandy

Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky

You have a "big" dog in each pod and a 2nd "big" brand too.

Those are solid divisions. I hope the eventual outcome is more along these lines.

Pod 1 on the original was definitely stout. Pod 4 a step below. 2 & 3 were definitely weaker on paper. I like these better.

Just don't see the SEC putting Georgia and Bama in the same pod. If it's up to the SEC, they want both teams playing in the NC game as many times as possible.

They won’t do that.

That is probably one of the driving forces of going away from divisions. Alabama would be geographically pushed east by Oklahoma and Texas joining.

Just my idea on pods from a geographical standpoint.  Keep in mind that most of these run north to south.

Texas/ OU/ TAMU/ LSU

LSU/ Ms State/ Ole Miss/ Mizzou

Auburn/ Bama/ Vandy/ Kentucky

Tenn/ UGA/ USC/ Florida
