forget that. If a student tells me that, I'm going to encourage them to tell their parents but if the child isn't in danger of being hurt or hurting themselves, it's not my place. Now if i know the parent i probably would but if i don't I have ZERO idea of how their parents may react and in some homes the reaction can be extreme. Judge me if you want but it could be dangerous to tell parents. The child would know better than me.

It is the parent's RIGHT to know, and the teacher has ZERO business keeping anything from the parents....any teacher caught doing this should be terminated, have their certificate pulled, and be denied their retirement money.........

So what you are saying is that the teachers should be telling the parents about their child's social life? I thought the job of a teacher was to "TEACH" the student, not make life decisions for them, not to tell their parents about whether or not they acting in a different gender. I would think that teachers should be teaching their subjects, and only if their gender acting situation is causing their grades to fail or they are getting bullied by other students should it be reported to the administration, and allow them to deal with the parents about gender acting. Tell their parents they are failing because of their social interactions, but that is for them to find out from their child, not a teacher. Teachers should TEACH!!!!!!!
