there is truly a problem in the black community. I hope it gets solved and quickly.

Our elected leaders are scared to talk about black on black violence out of fear they will instantly be labeled "racist" for doing so. If you cant even talk about a problem you darn sure can not find a cause or a solution. In the mean time black Americans...especially young black men...will continue to die at the hands of other young black men in appalling numbers.

95% of it is happening in dimocrat controlled large cities like Chicago, Philadelphia, New York,  etc.  There is no political gain in highlighting or addressing it so it's mostly ignored. In reality, these random school shootings pale in comparison to what goes on every week in large cities ... it's sad .....

Those stats you posted in the other thread of murder rates in Canada versus the US - this is a big reason why there’s a big disparity between the murder rates of the two countries.

Blacks in our cities killing each other with and without guns causes our country’s murder rates to skyrocket.

Just the way it is. And to fix it we need to be honest about it.

Don't disagree with that at all. I've gone over the reasons plenty of times on here. (Redlining, moving factories OUT of prominent black neighborhoods, burning down prominent black neighborhoods.....etc. It's going to take a ton to fix the violence problem but for one, GIVE KIDS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GRADUATE WITH A CERTIFICATION

Sorry. Some type of trade.

That is a terrific idea.

Lots of highschools make a big deal of it when a student athlete signs with a college to play sports but I read about a highschool in (I think) Kansas that held a ceremony for a senior that was "signing" with a plumbing company after graduation as an apprentice. In two years he will be a journeyman plumber. Twenty years old with a skill that will last a lifetime and that can not be offshored or outsourced. We need more of that instead of kids getting their degree and starting life $60,000 in debt.
