I Found some really old photos of some ancestors of mine from the early 20th century...and one where my great grandparents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary...they all look grumpy.

Originally built in 1921 Leona General Store is a Texas bucket list item for many people. The store/restaurant is located in Leona, Texas. What was once a General Store, over 100 years ago, is now a wonderful place to eat.  The population of Leona is around 150 or so and at one time was the County Seat of Leon County. Centerville, located only a few miles away is now the County Seat.

I love finding hidden treasures like this, but must admit family members introduced me to this place several years ago.  I would love to know if you have ever been to this place. There's so much history in this part of Texas. If you're ever in this part of Texas, check out Centerville and Leona General Store.
