LoboFan07
18-12 now for Longview Went to the ladies match against WH on Friday before the football game, and we were embarrassed. It was like Whitehouse was Hallsville. I don't get the complete inconsistency from them. Very frustrating. Much better than the district record is showing but that's also how they're performing so... Nacwagons
5-6a Water Polo District Championships were played in Garland on Saturday. Top 4 teams Qualified for Bi-District being played in Conroe on Tuesday. 1st year of UIL water Polo was very successful for our 2 East Texas schools. Nac and Tx High are by far the smallest schools playing Polo and have the most mileage to drive vs any other school participating. The bigger schools around the bigger cities have a huge advantage with club teams for the swimmers to play on in the offseason. Lady Pirates should be 6-7 heading into the final game against Longview, unless an upset happens. Longview previously swept the Lady Pirates at home, so would no doubt be an interesting finale at PT land. Longview had a massive chance against T High to put things to bed early. Part of the game. We will need some upsets to climb back into the race. Disappointing after the great run last year. But overall...the program is in good shape. This isn't a lousy district....esp at the top.

LoboFan07
Final games of the regular season are this Tuesday. Longview travels to Pine Tree. Mount Pleasant travels to Texas High. Whitehouse travels to Tyler. Hallsville travels to Marshall. Standings heading into the final day: Hallsville (33-6, 12-1) Texas High (29-10, 11-2) Whitehouse (28-12, 10-3) Longview (23-15, 7-6) Pine Tree (22-19, 6-7) Tyler (17-23, 3-10) Marshall (20-21, 2-11) Mount Pleasant (7-25, 1-12) Scenarios: Hallsville can clinch the district crown and the top seed with a win at Marshall. A loss opens the door for Texas High. Texas High can clinch at least the two seed with a win over Mount Pleasant. A loss by Hallsville and a win by Texas High would force a playoff for the #1 seed. Whitehouse must have help to move up in the standings. Ladycats can force a playoff for the #2 seed if they beat Tyler and Texas High losses to Mount Pleasant. They can not finish worse than 3rd. Longview travels to Pine Tree on the final day of the season. A Lady Lobo win clinches the final playoff berth. A Lady Pirate win forces a playoff between the two for the final spot. Tyler, Marshall and Mount Pleasant are playing for pride, as all three have been eliminated. Edited October 23, 2022 by LoboFan07
