Debunked: "The Rich Don’t Pay Their Fair Share"

I think the people in this video whining about the rich not paying their fair share, know they are paying their fair share but they also know their base needs to hear that because the base is to stupid to understand economics they would rather virtue signal and demagogue the issue for political points.

I just googled; " Top 25 rich in America pays how much percent in taxes".  I got the answer 3.4% in taxes.  That is a lot lower than you and I pay.   So not buying this story from boot licker Ben Shapiro.

3.4% of a million is greater than 3.4% of 50000.........

Did it say why? Or how? What's your source?

Nerdwallet disagrees with you.

I'm in the "Married filing jointly" 22% tax bracket. My tax bill, if you will, according to that site is approximately $18,000, and that's before any of the other stuff is taken out, like Social Security.

The number you're probably referring to is capital gains or some other type.

And according to this site:

https://graphics.wsj.com/what-percent/

If I just put in my income, I'm in the top 6% of wage earners. If I fill out the demographic info, I'm top 7%.

How much in taxes should I pay?

And more importantly, where's he wrong in the video?

Just google it " The top 25% richest Americans pay what percent in taxes, and pick your source. "

Maybe nerdwallet is a liar spreading propaganda.

Does all these brackets account for all the loopholes that the rich wrote for themselves ?

I'm all for a flt tax rate on everybody.  Somewhere between 10-15% and NO DEDUCTIONS from the top of my head.  Where it is at is debatable.
