Truthseeker96
Any new surprises coming out of east texas this year? Dekalb, sounds like some expectations coming out. Tatum, new coach coming in from waskom? Atlanta, breaking an 11 game loosing streak? Gilmer, PG, Carthage now in the same region. Daingerfield, is that district gonna be as tough as originally thought? Waskom, y’all gonna be rebuilding? Ef, heard some kids moved out? Gladewater, down a little? Hooks, Hughes springs, New Boston, y’all gonna surprise some folks? LE, y’all gonna battle or nah? Qc and red water rebuilding again? L-K, new AD, still the same ole? Pittsburgh, gonna keep riding that win streak at the end of the year last year? Jefferson, how is that turf looking? Visiting team still across the road? Seems to me could be very exciting football season! August 1st coming soon.

The answer to this question is yes on offense not as much on defense.

School and community love him. He brought a tremendously successful staff with him from Waskom. Also their QB Watson, center Welch, and WR Gonzalez will be in green and white this season as well. We graduated nearly 30 players so it's the perfect time to implement a new system. The Flex is tough to learn but having his QB, that runs the flex very well, come with him should help flatten the curve on learning it. Folks are excited to see a name as big as Keeling take the job as well as the staff he has put together. May take a little while but Tatum should be back on the map soon.

Y'all going to be fumbling a lot early on but as the season goes I think it will come together. You'll still be in the running for a playoff spot. I also remember asking the same question after Moseley and various other stand out players graduated so I'll go with my wife's wisdom (who knows very little about football). She say's to not worry, they always seem to pull a rabbit out of the hat lol! Who knows? I think we may look a little different but still be just fine. The freshman team looked pretty good last season.

cowboyandchrist
Carthage, Gilmer, and Pleasant Grove made it the toughest region in 4A DII. You think the powers to be wanted to make sure they didn’t get another all East Texas state champion ship game.
