Funnily enough, the Babylon Bee actually parodied that. There's a video that they did where they're sitting around in an office pitching ideas, and it would go something like this:

Person 1: "Hey! I've got it...what if we say that XYZ?"
Person 2: "No...Democrats/Liberals/The Left already did that."
Person 1: "Oh..."
