nacdragon07
We take a road trip to play a team we have not faced since 2005 the Lumberton raiders led by former Nac OC James Reyes. We took a beating in Lufkin and still cant seem To love the ball down the field consistently. The defense spends the most time on the field which isn’t good for kids who play both ways. One of two things will happen either we correct the ship before we host Chapel Hill or we leave Lumberton 0-3 it’s all about how the kids respond mentally this coming week. Grandpaw
Nac will probably have this topic to themselves. Lumberton don't participate much.

Mavchamp
If Nac loses this game....they may be in for a long season........ I know absolutely nothing about Lumberton...makes it hard to pick.

Nacwagons
Nac has not played Lumberton since the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Nac won both of those meetings 49-13 and 33-23 Lumberton is 1-1 on the season beating Hampshire-Fannett 38-31 in week 1 and losing last night to Houston St. Thomas 42-24. Lumberton went 6-5 in 2021 making the playoffs as the 3 seed in their district before losing to Lindale 56-39 in bi-district. Lumberton is led by former Nac OC James Reyes. His teams typically do not have problems scoring points, so if Nac sleep walks in this one they can find themselves looking 0-3. Hoping for Nac to bounce back and get their first win of the season in Lumberton on Friday.

GoodOleBoy73
Wouldn't be shocked to see this one go either way. Lumberton is ranked pretty high in 4A D1 but I would argue that DCTF rankings stink this year.
missionimpossible
Maybe Nacogdoches hired the wrong guy the last time. Beat down by former OC, and it could have been worse. Reyes has Lumberton going the right way, and quickly! Nac going the wrong way.
