Gonna go with the Mayflower Panthers. Pitt offense seems to be a little sluggish out the gate. Think we can put up a few points on them and stay ahead in a game that might be over before 9pm.

I have to go with Tatum in this one. I don't think a one dimensional team can handle them.

Watch them come out in the spread and run 40 back to back all go routes.

Previously posted but worth more spot light this week -

Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka was a landmark 1954 Supreme Court case in which the justices ruled unanimously that racial segregation of children in public schools was unconstitutional. This led to the integration of all black schools across the nation. In Tatum, Mayflower integrated with Tatum ISD to become one school. During the Mayflower Era, Algie Harkless led the Mayflower Panthers to 47 wins over the stint of seven years. This led to being a State Finalist in 1966. On September 9th 2022, the Eagles will become Panthers for the night and honor the Mayflower Panthers against the Pittsburg Pirates.

How good is Tatum passing game?

Sir, we run the flexbone....we threw twice week 1 lol. Maybe 8 times last week. We've played 2 solid opponents and racked up a ton of yardage on the ground. Have an excellent option QB in Watson that does throw quite well when asked to. We're probably averaging over 400 yards on the ground. And I must ask......how is Pitt's deep ball passing game?

I was thinking they started out in their early years at Mayflower but played for Tatum. I could very well be wrong.

You might be right....I can't say one way or another.
