We will spotlight different alumni from the Mayflower football team throughout the week. Today we spotlight a Mayflower graduate that because of the sensitivity of some of their job assignments, we will not publish their name or photo. We do however want to recognize some of their honors to continue the spotlight of high calibur graduates from Mayflower. This alumni was a member of the 1966 State Team and the 1967 Regionals Team. He was appointed Director of Texas Dept. of Public Safety by Governor Rick Perry. He helped coordinate and lead the recovery efforts of Space Shuttle Columbia.
