Good to see them beat a school close to their size. Congrats.

No doubt, we appreciate the thoughts. Glad to see that Tatum was able to beat one of the smaller schools on their schedule last week. Would have been bad to go 0-2 against smaller schools.

Center is currently 2-0 against smaller schools and 2-1 against similar size schools while barely averaging 53 pts per game. 4-1 on the season. Hoping to at least finish .500 and possibly make the playoffs, though it will be tough against schools with similar enrollment numbers.

.500 has always been the norm around there so I understand setting that as a goal.

Absolutely. We have had a rough decade winning only the same amount of playoff games as Tatum during that span. Glad we have Tatum on the schedule again next year. With mediocre programs like us, it is good to find high probability wins such as Tatum (even though they have smaller enrollment) so we can build our confidence. Kudos to Tatum for scheduling teams they cannot beat such as Center, DF and Lumberton.

We have a winning record against those with the exception of Lumberton. First time ever playing them. Good try though.

Lol.....4 OTs, 4 OTs to put the little kids away. Good luck with the rest of yalls season sir.

And lots of luck on their part as well. Bet they try to schedule Tenaha next time around. False hope does wonders with that koolaide.

Beat yall by 4 TDs if played again. Dont forget about how DF whipped you. You saw what happened to them.

Yep. According to you, we will be losing to Rusk and Van also. Hopefully we can finish at least .500.

It's doubtful, but it is possible. It's not such a big accomplishment to make it to the playoffs because so many teams per district are allowed. What happens when you enter the playoffs is what matters.  If the Riders happen to make it they will most definitely make a early exit. Still tho you can continue to embrace the few wins you've had during the season 😆.  In Centers case it's rare even to do that 😆

Agreed. One thing we can at least take some joy in, is that we know we are better than DF. Is DF in the same region as Newton?

Yes, yes.....yall would compete very well in 3A D2 lol.

We also know that regardless of what happens from here out, we are better than Tatum as well. Do you think Tatum can win some playoff games this year? or do you think they will continue their trend of the last decade by winning the same amount of playoff games as Center?

Lol....hang your hat on beating a couple smaller schools. Your obsession with searching for validation is becoming startling. Yall beat us by 2, in 4 OTs in our first ever game in the new offense...after graduating 29. Do you realize how silly you sound right now? Yay.....gold star for yall. There.....validated. Move on to your classification. Go be great.....win state.....all that good stuff. Yeah, go Riders. Jesus

They’ve play one good team and got 70 put on them. That team was similar in size. Now they wanna brag about beating a couple of 3As. Jesus

We will meet them in the playoffs. Come and check out the game and root Newton on because it's not like you'll be following Center😆.

As a Center native, i no longer wonder why most find the Center fanbase annoying, 🤦🏻‍♂️

I wanna root for Center, I like ole Ricky Joe. He was a great guy and coach here at Tatum. But homeboy making it hard on folks to root for them lol. Got a solid group of athletes.
