DaveTV1
The Titans still own the colors, and it's not going to change. I rarely see Columbia blue, white, and scarlet. When I do, I know they're old school like me. The Texans need to git rit of their color scheme, mascot, front office, and mascot if they're going to win Houston fans over. All I have are Oiler memories.
Stoney
I had 3 football teams growing up: the Cowboys, Texas A&M and the Oilers. I rooted for the Oilers because my dad was a fan. We went to their training camp one year and Ray Childress scared the out of me. As a kid he was the largest guy I’d ever seen. I cared about the Oilers. The Texans? Nothing. What’s the opposite of love? It’s not hate. It’s apathy. Nothing the Texans do affects me like the Oilers or Cowboys did/do.

As I've said before when the Oilers were here people loved both the Cowboys and the Oilers and hoped every year for a Super Bowl between the two. The closest was in 1978 and 1979. I became anti-Texans when people down here would act as if they had made the playoffs every year and to several Super Bowls. They also want to act like there is a rivalry between the Cowboys and Texans. They don't even play every preseason like they used to for the Governor's Trophy. It's just not the same anymore.
Stoney
The Texans aren’t relevant to me. Even Lovie Smith isn’t enough to get me to care about the Texans.
