ATL “fastest secondary in 3A” doesn’t mean much if their eyes are bad.  I’m not sure ATL can stop Winnsboro consistently on the ground or through the air.  ATL’s best defense will be long sustained drives on offense, but that’s not their identity.  ATL will score on some quick hitting big plays.  Winnsboro has given those up all year, no reason to think it will be different Fri.  But ATL’s defense is going to be on the field a ton and they are going to get gassed at the end of Q3, and Winnsboro will pull away

We had 6 games with less than 300 yards total offense. I wouldn’t use Sabine in your argument. 🤣

Atlanta hasn't really played a good passing team lol. Definitely not good enough passing teams to deem them the best secondary in East Texas lol.

Combined the teams you mentioned don’t come close to Winnys passing yards.

Best secondary had like 6 ints on the year. We had twice as many as that. Maybe we have the best secondary???

They. Are. A. Spread. Team.

I can pull up on my phone or PC 9 of their games and every game they are spread based.

Their identity is definitely spread, high tempo.  However, at least 4 times this year, they have lined up in wing-t and pounded the ball with the 2 inside linebackers running the ball.  They scored one td against MV in the T.

They can still run it well.  If you watched or listened to the interview with Josh Finney that Mr. Smoak did, Coach Finney mentioned they had to do some soul searching after last seasom.  They realized that they had some good receiver type bodies that were better suited for the spread.  So, they changed the offense to fit their players.

The fact of all of it is yall haven't played any good passing teams. Sabine very well could be the best and their QB threw nearly as many INTs as he did TDs. You don't know how good your secondary is, not truly. But yalls about to find out. I'm pulling for Atlanta....but yall getting ahead of yourselves.
