Bay City is dangerous, you want to make the QB beat you...stop the run and make the QB make throws....you gotta account for that DL, he's a force if you dont handle him he is a game wrecker...

thanks matt. that DL is going to be tough and they look like the exactly the same team as CH, Fast and homerun hitting team. its going to be an exciting game....Ps im the one who gave you crap in kilgore after the game by yelling kilgore by 6

2022 PreviewĀ  Ā  Ā  this is before the year started

Coach: Robert Jones. Lettermen R/L: 30/10. Starters returning O/D: 9/9. 2021: 2-7/0-5 district. Key losses: Isaac Allen (Buena Vista).

Players to watch: RB Brice Turner (6-1, 185, 4.3), LB Ayden Smith (6-0, 190, 4.5), DE Carlon Jones (6-3, 250, 4.9), OL Glenn Idhe (6-1, 220, 4.9), OL Zoā€™Maryon Bryan (6-4, 240, 5.2), RB Jada Andrews (5-7, 160, 4.4). Top juniors: DB Jahā€™mari Johnson (5-9, 160, 4.6), WR Braylon Williams (5-8, 155, 4.6). Top sophomore: OL Marco Mata (6-2, 280, 5.5).

Other prospects: DE Josh Williams, DL Caden Bradford, WR David Perez.

2022 notes: Jones is in Year 3 of the rebuilding project he took on when he returned to his alma mater. The Blackcats made the playoffs with a large senior class in Jonesā€™ first season, but reality set in with a young team last year. The experience should benefit Bay City this season. The Blackcats can be explosive in the backfield with Turner, who won silver medals in the state meet in the 100 and 200 and is moving from wide receiver to join Andrews (641 yards, 5 TDs rushing), who moved into the starting lineup as a freshman. LB Smith (85 tackles), a three-year starter, and DE Carlon Jones (75 tackles, 8 sacks) will lead the defense.
