He will get to show out more next year with Paddie and Hatten graduating.

cowboyandchrist
This Gilmer defense was really good. No body is going run the ball on the Dawgs without a good passing game. Gilmer was by far the best team the Dawgs have played so far. They played their butts off. Dawg Defense is just flat out bad to the bone. Held a great Gilmer team to zero points in the first half and only 7 points for the game. Dawg offense looked a little off at times but maybe that can be attributed to how good Gilmers defense is. Paddy had a great game, Hatten and Manning made great plays when we needed them. The Oline did a great job on pass blocking but they really got after it when they started running up the middle. Next up PG Get rested Dawgs, heal up, and prepare for another battle. Let’s Go Dawgs and number hopefully. Safe travels to all fans. God Bless Coaches, Players, and Fans. mikehoncho
We have to talk about this… it was my favorite play of the entire game and got me fired up more than maybe anything I’ve seen this season. Cuff straight up hip tossed/body slammed the defender on that one run. It was brutal.

cotton84
The ref on the line of scrimmage on Carthage’s side gave Gilmer a full yard on several occasions - made a difference on Gilmer getting a first down on 4th down once…….but they are high school officials for a reason. DAWG91
Gilmer played great though! My 21 point pick was predicated on Dawgs taking a huge lead and backups giving up some scores. I have a renewed respect for The G. Edited November 26, 2022 by DAWG91
