I still can’t believe Carthage hasn’t even trailed much less had a competitive game. PG just doesn’t have the horsepower to beat Carthage. Add in the fact their oline not as strong. = Blowout

I like your predictions, always works well for PG. Our own good luck charm you are.

Got to apply my magic formula to figure out winner and score

Does your magic formula include Little Belichick using a lot of jet sweeps, regular sweeps, and zero route passes early in the game to make the d-line have to run, and afterwards running a ton of straight ahead runs against those tired d-linemen ?

Seems like we’ve seen that exact scenario play out very recently..

Bless your heart. Pg doesn’t have a prayer. Good luck with that. They literally never trailed. That is difficult and impressive at any level.

What if PG does the same thing?  Let’s be honest those big Soph DL were sucking wind at the end of the Gilmer game.

Fair point. But I feel like they were still making plays when needed. The defense as a whole really never gave up anything big besides the one pass play for a TD. For Gilmer to have ran the ball as they did all season, they were shut down and well below avgs for the season.

I think PG is gonna play hard and depending on the matchup of their defense vs Carthage, maybe keep it close for a few quarters. I do think Carthage will run away with it at some point though.

Well, one of Carthage’s guys just covers about 2 yards each side of him(very well, I might add)…..the other will sometimes have a 220 or 180 lb guy try to block him…..I think D P would love to have P G run straight ahead at his guys.

#15’s status changes things a little for the Dawg D vs PG.  If he isn’t at least 90% or doesn’t go at all, that put’s #70 starting with not much depth behind him with meaningful snaps.  I’d expect PG to test Carthage on the edges early and often.  And I can tell you from first hand experience that #2 throws better than #17 for Gilmer.  He’s not getting recruited for his arm, but don’t sleep on his ability to get the ball down the field to his WR’s & TE’s when he needs to.

45 can move to DE and 25 can take his spot at LB and still solid at both spots.
