No offense to Aledo, but Longview should have been the home team. Longview will bring far more fans, and they're the higher seeded team.

I agree that LV should have been the home team because yall will have more fans at the game. But Aledo wanted the game at the Star in Frisco, so I dont feel bad for yall lol. Yall cant have it all.

I know I'm not your source but the winner of this one will be playing in Arlington the following Saturday lol.

Are your sources saying at UTA? If so, they're wrong!

No dog in this hunt, just basing my prediction on the schedules.  LV has has an easier year.  I’m picking Aledo in a close one, but whoever wins it, it should be close unless one team gets TO itis.  From the fan’s standpoint it ought to be a great one.

Yeah I remember. Gilbert was a beast. He’s in the NFL now right? I still don’t see him competing with 09 Bama as a true Freshman. Maybe I’m wrong.

That’s certainly an opinion. I don’t think King is a god. But I do think he’s consistently had us playing well, sometimes elite while other big schools around us have struggled. Either we’re lucky or have a pretty good coach lol

He had Texas within 3 pts with 5 minutes to go in that game.

I’m not, or never have, saying/said that King was a horrible coach.  He’s a good coach, but has had good talent every year. I think he’s lost games he should’ve won due to his decisions.  I work with guys from Longview that all day he coached them into a loss ever so often.  For Pete’s sake I was comparing him to Mack and Les.  And I’ve said they should beat Aledo by 17-21 points.

It’s still not too late to have this game moved to the Cotton Bowl! I think, it would be better suited for both fanbases. What do y’all think?? Hell, it’s literally right down the interstate off of I-30 and probably still stands as a neutral location.
