Just making stupid decisions all day. Driving late in the 2nd quarter with 2 time outs in Aledo territory and they ran the clock out? Why? Put the pedal down and put them out of the game. That stupid dropped snap on the punt deep that Aledo turned into a first down. Why? So many head scratchers.

Biggest question I have is why the Lobo defense waited until the fourth quarter to steam roll Aledo’s offense.
They could gain a yard. Why

HC is responsible for everything though.  Offense has been vanilla what I’ve seen.  Hale is a stud, I’d give him many targets by screens and such.

See, this is an example of cognitive dissonance.

You want to blame the head coach. You call out playcalling because you think it's the head coach. When it's told to you that the OC calls the plays, you say, "Well, it's still the head coach".

Coach King didn't hire a bad OC with Vallery. It may not be Vallery's best game today, but it's on him if you don't like the playcalling.

Well, not really sure which team the delay benefits. LV will be able to script all their plays but the Aledo defense gets to rest. Hate the fact we didnt get to finish this game. Nonetheless its been a wild game all the way around!

Unfortunately there is more coming… 519E41F6-1E2B-45CA-A2CA-AD2275071D44.png

King doesn’t have final say on play calls?  Dissonance or whatever.

If the OC calls the plays exclusively, why does King carry around a laminated offensive playbook and pull the QB aside as if he is sending him in with the play?
