Red90fly Posted September 24 Share Posted September 24 This defense is looking like what Kwiatkowski fielded for years/decade at Boise St and UW. Many probably never saw much of that due to being in the Western timezone, but his defenses always played fast, were fundamentally sound/always in place, tackled real well, and didn't give up many points and that's what Texas is doing now. He had trash to work with in year one with all of Herman's leftovers. This defense has a lot of future NFL players/draft picks on it. The narrative that Texas doesn't develop players/put guys in the NFL is being thrown out the window (both sides of the ball). It makes me wonder if he will get any snaps all season. Murphy only had 1 pass attempt. Ahead 38-6 after the 3rd qtr - Ewers should not have been on the field in the 4th………Leave your starting line in(for the most part) and have your 2nd or 3rd string QB get some game reps……I am with you. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You do know that Redshirts can play in 4 games don’t you? It’s not like the old days. Arch is the future and should be getting some snaps along with Murphy.
