This is the location of the Sun in the Milky Way. The distance from us to the galactic center is 26,000 light years, where a supermassive black hole known as "Sagittarius A*" is located.

That's a good one. Funniest one I ever saw with Charlie Brown trying to kick the football was from a MAD magazine. The last couple of panels show Lucy as being woozy and saying something like, "I know I deserved something for pulling the football away all those times, but why did you have to kick me in the head?" And Charlie Brown replies, "The way you were facing, I couldn't reach your butt."

This is K2-18b, a potentially habitable planet covered with oceans and about 2.6 times the size of Earth.
JWST has just detected carbon dioxide and methane in its atmosphere which can only be produced by living beings.

"The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light."

~Carl Sagan
