What pipeline is Deion going to use to get talent to Colorado? In the ‘23 class they have 2 4* players in the entire state of Colorado. Maybe his creative recruiting can get talent to Boulder?

His name.

I like the Matt Rhule hire for Nebraska. The guy has shown he can coach up 3* to compete with 4* and 5*. Temple, Baylor, Nebraska….similar schools in a way. He could have them back to being an 8 win program with an occasional 10 win program.

Yep, and it's a much smarter hire than Urban. Whether you like Rhule or not, dude runs a clean program.

Texas State just fired Jake Spavital.

The no HS recruiting strategy failed miserably.

When you see how UTSA and Traylor have built their program and the way Spav chose to it was a mistake on Texas State’s part.

Yep, there's no reason to not be competitive in this state. He should have used a combination of the transfer portal and high school recruits.

Next coach will have to rebuild some relationships with the high school programs. Theres too much talent that might be undersized or a .1 too slow that could succeed at Texas State.
