Mojo1000
That Glen Rose QB was really impressive. Good seeing East Tex well represented. Surratt just simply is the best. Running backs simply stacked in the first team.
cowboyandchrist
No D linemen from Carthage anywhere, even in honorable mention. Really ! They are all sophomores but maybe next year. I personally thought they were the best D line in all of 4A. Great list of players and congratulations for making the All State Team.

Any of the three sophs could have had 300 tackles with 20 sacks and still would probably not been on the list, for a reason that a lot of people know.
VonG
I seriously doubt Burks had 257 tackles. That has to be a misprint. If he did have that many tackles. It has to be a record.

Used to be if 4 guys helped to bring a ball carrier down, the stats person might give 2 players a 1/2 tackle each………Now, sometimes all 4 defensive players get credited with a tackle.

Maybe the teams he played against had two plays. Run right or run left. Little humerus You’re right, Texas needs to camp out on his door step. Or all major DI schools for that matter. Seeing no Carthage front 7 players and not seeing Rohan Fluellan of Gilmer on there at all tells this all state team is a joke. Must have been some guys on break at the Bluebell factory who came up with it.

Many teams better than Gilmer to pull players from. It is not uncommon for teams that advance deep into the playoffs to be better represented. HearEmaGrowlin
If Cuff had played deeper into the second half of half the games we played this year he easily could’ve had 5,000+ passing yards and 70 touchdowns. JasperDawg
How does the # 1 Inside LineBacker in the state not even make honorable mention? Blue Bell is some great ice cream, but is sponsoring a questionable list.

Gotta LOL at how dumb this post is. Dave Campbell's Texas Football and 20+ DI offers for a young man who has won in the playoffs overshadows Blue Bell & Huffman Hargrave Falcons like the nitwit 89Falcon all day everyday. Maybe HH can even make it to the playoffs or beat Jasper in the years to come. LMAO!

Did YOU specifically ask: "How does the #1 LineBacker in the state not even make honorable mention"? Was that "YOU" or someone else?
