Me too. I also like the idea of a mini sec playoff for the sec title. 4 pods of 4. Each pod sends their winner to a semi final game.

SEC 4 team playoff >>>> CFP 4 team playoff*

*until new 12 team playoff

Do you care for the arrangement of pods or separate from Texas/Oklahoma ?

I think this would be the most balanced set up.

Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri

Texas A&M, LSU, Ole Miss, Miss State

Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbuilt

Georgia, Flordia, Kentucky, South Carolina

I would prefer this . A&M downfall they can’t consistently beat the Mississippi schools. This is what holding them back imo. From a Texas /Oklahoma standpoint this is the most ideal.

LSU Pod B Champions every year.... I'll take it.

Texas, Arkansas, and Florida are the rumored three for Oklahoma in that model.

Florida wouldn't make any sense, but I do believe if it comes down to either OU or A&M for Texas, it'll be OU. With Texas and A&M in the same conference again, the people that want to see them play, will get their wish; but putting them in separate pods grants the wish of those that also don't want it renewed on an annual basis.

I don't think they will be able to make all three teams "make sense" for every school.

I think Oklahoma would be happy to play a game in Florida every other year.

Oh yea there’s no doubt OU and Texas are keeping their game. I’m convinced both would go independent and okay each other 12 times before they gave it up.

I personally think Texas and OU could be separated though. Just schedule each other non conference if you want. They did it for like 80 years prior to the big 12. There have been other cases in the last few years of two teams in the same conference meeting on the field in a game that doesn’t have conference standing implications.

All that being said it makes sense to keep them together, just doesn’t have to be.
