DaveTV1 Posted March 12, 2023 Share Posted March 12, 2023 Bud Grant, Minnesota Vikings coaching legend and Hall of Famer, dies at 95 (aol.com) I had a high respect for Coach Grant when he led the Vikings. I had no idea that he won an NBA title with the Minneapolis Lakers in 1950. In the 70's Coach Landry (4), Coach Grant (4), and Coach Allen (2) were the only NFC coaches to take their teams to the Super Bowl. Coach Landry was 9-5 against Coach Grant with Coach Grant winning the last meeting on January 3, 1983 when Tony Dorsett rushed for 99 yards with only 10 players on his side of the ball.
